Citizen
Pruner Tree Care Course Manuals
| Citizen
Pruner Course Street Tree Care Manual by
Trees New York |
|
You
don't have to be a New Yorker to be a Citizen Pruner anymore.
We've rewritten the manual from our wildly successful "Citizen
Pruner" course for other cities. Now you can learn to care
for your city's trees no matter where you live. Our manual outlines
the curriculum for an intensive 12-hour course which combines
in-class and field work. Trees New York has trained over 5400
Citizen Pruner volunteers with this very same curriculum in
the country's largest city. Our Citizen Pruners have assumed
much of the responsibility for NYC's young street trees. This
curriculum is also used in many locales throughout the US. The
curriculum and materials have been used in municipalities ranging
in size from a few hundred to more than 1 million. Care for
your city's trees, we'll teach you how. *Please note that
the manual distribution is only for organizations and groups
located outside of the five boroughs of NYC. This text is copyrighted,
you must purchase one copy for each student. The course
manuals are available only from Trees New York.
Publishing of the newest edition of the manual was generously
funded by International Paper. |
