Trees
New York's reputation as the preeminent non-profit urban, community-based
tree care organization has spread across the globe. In recent weeks, TNY
has played host to delegations from Japan,China and Britain. Delegates
enjoyed a presentation detailing TNY's programs and accomplishments. Particular attention was paid to the Asian Longhorned Beetle and its regional and international significance. Susan Gooberman, TNY's director of education, and Mat Cahill, TNY's assistant director of urban forestry, welcomed the delegates and shared their experiences at TNY with the interested visitors. TNY looks forward to future opportunities to share ideas with foresters worldwide. |
