Trees
New York is
proud to announce that our new Tree Crew is hard at work serving our city's
residents. Under the supervision of TNY urban foresters Joe
Bernardo and Nathaniel
Rayl, the crew is working on a number of tree
maintenence projects throughout the city. The members of the crew are
all graduates of the TNY
Job Training Program. The Tree Crew provides on-the-job
experience and an entrepeneurial environment for trainees to further their
education. The Tree Crew is available to do tree maintenence for community
groups, block associations and individuals on a sliding fee basis. TNY
thanks the Commonwealth Fund, the New York Community Trust, J.P. Morgan
and Chase Bank for their support of the job training program.
